"그가 내가 한 것을 아네요." 정도로 해석하면 될 거 같습니다.

내가 몰래 비밀스럽게 하는 행동을 상대방이 알아차렸을 때 사용하는 문장입니다.

be onto somebody
1. to speak to someone in order to tell them or ask them something
2. to know that a particular person did something wrong or committed a crime 
1. 남의 생각[속셈]을 알고 있다, 남의 부정을 발견하다
